Hynix Semiconductor Inc, the second-largest manufacturer of memory chips in the world, fourth quarter sales fell 31% to 1.21 trillion won and net loss was 1.33 trillion won.

Hynix Semiconductor Inc, the world''s second-largest manufacturer of memory chips said fourth quarter sales fell 31% to 1.21 trillion won from 1.73 trillion won a year ago. Net loss in the quarter was 1.33 trillion won compared to net loss of 469 billion won, a year ago.

For the full year 2008, Sales fell 23% to 1.21 trillion won from 6.5 trillion won. Net loss in the year was 4.36 trillion won compared to net profit of 346.3 billion won, a year ago.
